World-class dance and the artistic splendor of the Hudson Valley converge as Hudson Valley Dance Festival returns Saturday, October 11, 2025, with a moving mix of dynamic performances at Historic Catskill Point in Catskill, NY.

Hudson Valley Dance Festival will once again transform a charming 19th-century warehouse on the banks of the Hudson River into an intimate, elegant performance space. With performances at 2 pm and 5 pm, the festival will showcase an awe-inspiring lineup of works nurtured in and inspired by the region’s rich artistic spirit.

The companies and choreographers set for the festival’s 12th edition are:

  • ABT Studio Company presenting Yannick Lebrun’s Human, a work that blends grace with striking physicality, performed by rising dance star Kayla Mak
  • Jon Lehrer Dance Company bringing its signature blend of modern and jazz to a stirring contemporary work
  • Leggy Bones Physical Theater sharing its dynamic and acrobatic duet Nocturne, performed by company founders Casey Howes and Jake Warren
  • Broadway performer and choreographer Reed Luplau sharing his deeply personal contemporary work A Single Man, which premiered earlier this summer at Dancers Responding to AIDS’ Fire Island Dance Festival
  • Dancer and choreographer Dario Natarelli, seen in Broadway’s Illinoise, premiering a new tap piece set to Sammy Davis Jr.’s “Feeling Good”
  • New Chamber Ballet sharing Mandragore, an entwined duet on pointe for two ballerinas, choreographed by the company’s founder and artistic director Miro Magloire
  • Two excerpts of new works from Parsons Dance: a joyful piece choreographed by David Parsons to Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9; and a new work by legendary ballroom artist Courtney Balenciaga Washington, introduced to Parsons Dance after her company, MasterZ At Work Dance Family, performed at last year’s festival
  • Verdon Fosse Legacy reviving the legendary duet “Who’s Got the Pain” from Broadway’s Damn Yankees, a flirtatious and athletic mambo originally performed by Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon
